Ender’s Game Movie to Start Filming in 2012
In an exclusive interview with Collide for their new film Cowboys and Aliens, Alex Kurtzman and Robert Orci were asked how the Ender’s Game movie is going. Orci has this to say,
“We are in the exploratory part of pre-production where we have people working. We have designers and we have all that kind of stuff to help us figure out the exact budget. That is what we are doing. We are budgeting it through R&D. We are in the research and development phase of what the movie is finally going to cost.”
Orci included that they are in the process of scheduling and will hopefully will be shooting Ender’s Game in the new year and that the first cast meeting for Ender’s Game was yesterday, July 27, 2011.
Tell us, what scene are you looking forward to most in the Ender’s Game movie? Our favorite will probably be when Ender cries after receiving Valentine’s letter, because as Orson Scott Card told us, it’s a story about human relationships.
