Celebrate Free Comic Book Day by picking up a free ‘Ender’s Game’ comic from your local comic book shop!

Today is Free Comic Book Day. It’s an annual event held at participating comic book shops across North America the first Saturday of May. Unbeknownst to most readers, the Enderverse (or Ender Saga or Ender Series) actually contains 47 comic book issues published by Marvel.

Most of the comics retell stories from the novels, which include ‘Ender’s Game’, ‘Ender’s Shadow’, ‘Speaker for the Dead’, and others. If you’ve read all the books and short stories and you aren’t interested in rereading the stories in another medium, I would recommend reading ‘Recruiting Valentine’ or ‘The League War’. ‘Recruiting Valentine’ contains all new content which isn’t published in novel form, and ‘The League War’ fills in the time span between the novels ‘Ender’s Game’ and ‘Ender in Exile’.
