This is a great way for non-readers to introduce themselves to the ‘Ender’s Game’ story before the film’s release in November. Producers love ‘Ender’s Shadow’
According to a set report from SlashFilm, the ‘Ender’s Game’ producers talked about shooting ‘Ender’s Shadow’ alongside ‘Ender’s Game’. However, when the producers realized that the film’s budget wouldn’t allow for this, they scrapped the idea. Instead, ‘Ender’s Game’ producer Linda McDonough says that if the ‘Ender’s Game’ movie is a success, they would love to do an ‘Ender’s Game’ television show.
Similarly, we reported in April that Orson Scott Card is also hoping to turn the First Formic War trilogy into a television show.

The ‘Ender’s Game’ board game by Cryptozoic Media finally has a release date. The board game will be released on November 15, 2013 – just in time for Christmas sales. This is a UK release date, but we’re working with Summit Entertainment to confirm whether this release date holds true for the United States. You can pre-order the ‘Ender’s Game’ board game here.
Ender’s Game: Battle School is a two-player game set in the zero-gravity arena of the International Fleet’s Battle School. Players take the role of either Ender Wiggin and the Dragon Team or Bonzo Madrid and the Salamander Team, and then use Commander cards with special abilities (some for the whole team, some that only help the commander) to attempt to capture the other team’s gates or freeze opposing team players with laser-light guns. The player who completes either of the goals first (capturing all the gates or freezing the opposing commander) wins.
The suggested retail price is $25.00 and has a suggested user age of 13 and older.

Orbit Books, based in the UK and Australia, has just released the another ‘Ender’s Game’ Film Tie-In Edition. As you can see, this cover features the newest ‘Ender’s Game’ international poster. This cover will be available on October 25th.
