Newly Launched Australian Facility Takes Over

It’s been known for some time that the high-profile company Digital Domain would be handling the visual effects for the Ender’s Game movie. Digital Domain has facilities all over the world: Los Angeles, Vancouver, San Francisco, Florida, Mumbai and London. Recently, Digital Domain launched a new facility in Australia. Now IF (an Australian magazine, not to be confused with Ender’s Game fictional International Fleet) is reporting that this new Australian-based facility will be working on three projects- one of which is the Ender’s Game movie. The article spouts that Digital Domain’s Australian facility has been recruiting local staff since July.

On a side note, the article describes the Ender’s Game movie as a “big-budget sci-fi feature.” While no budget information has been publicly released by the production company or anyone else associated with the film, we can hope that Ender’s Game will have a big budget.
